Contracting Authority: Kolonjë Municipality
Location: Leskovik, Kolonjë

Phase of the project: Implementation Project

Leskovik is a mountain town, that’s why it is thought to use the element of stone as a concept in the whole town.
Three ancient trees represent a historical element for the town, they are not only protected, but their importance is highlighted. Except for the ancient trees, this square has 2 other urban details, Jani Vretos’s bust, and the old water tap.
For the unification of the whole square, the facades of the objects around the square are reconstructed. The coating of the ground floors is stone, which will make possible the connection of the concept with the square floor. In the other floors the facades are plastered with white plaster and the window frames are painted with dark grey. These colors will not only evidence the green space that is increased in the city, but also the urban and architectural lines of the town.
